the people behind the patch

A couple in white clothes outdoors at sunset, with the woman hugging the man's back and smiling at the camera, the man looking to the left.

Hi, we’re Jack and Lauren Hunter - the husband-and-wife team behind Pumpkin Station.

We’re Tennessee locals who love this community, being outside, and finding any excuse to make a season feel a little more special. Jack is a Nashville firefighter, and Lauren works as a wealth advisor assistant, so Pumpkin Station is definitely a labor of love outside of our everyday jobs.

The idea started pretty simply: we wanted to create a local fall spot that felt like us — laid-back, welcoming and beautiful without being overdone. Somewhere you could stop by for pumpkins and mums, bring the family, take a few pictures, shop a few fun fall finds and leave feeling a little more excited about the season.

We’ve built Pumpkin Station together from the ground up, from the actual setup of the patch to the branding, merchandise and all the tiny details in between. 2026 is our very first season, and getting to open it here in Thompson’s Station makes it even more special.

We’re so glad you found us, and we can’t wait to see you at the patch.
